Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Signing Ceremony with Sunway College Johor Bahru (Sunway JB)

AXP and Sunway College Johor Bahru (Sunway JB) have signed a MoU which will enable our two organizations to share common and fundamental objective of pursuing a holistic approach in the teaching and learning of Auditing.
The MoU was signed by Mr Eric Chia, AXP’s director and Mrs Hor Poh Choo, Principal of Sunway JB on 27th September 2011 at Sunway JB.
The MoU has initiated a collaboration between Sunway JB and AXP to conduct Audit Express (AE) Workshop for the following groups of undergraduates:
iUndergraduates with basic knowledge in Principle of Auditing;
iiUndergraduates who will soon be completing their higher learning studies and intend to seek employment or undertaking practical training in the accountancy profession.
The AE Workshop is designed to walk the students through the whole auditprocess, from audit planning to preparation of annual report, introducing the undergraduates auditing in practice by using AE and sample audit working papers. It aims to assists in conceptualising auditing and making auditing theory more practical and perhaps, more interesting. Also, it can help to narrow the expectation gap between audit firms and fresh graduates.
