A 2 1/2 days Audit Express(AE) Workshop was conducted to TAR College students on 27 to 29 January 2010. The objective of our workshop was to provide the students with hands-on exposure to practical audit processes and procedures through the use of audit automation software. The AE Certification acted as an assessment of the skills acquired by the students from the workshop.

During the workshop, AXP trainers guided the students through the audit process from audit planning to preparation of annual report by using Audit Express to further enhance the students’ understanding in auditing theory. In addition, AXP trainers, who are all ex-auditors, shared with the students their practical experiences in auditing.

A majority of the students agreed that the workshop has enhanced their understanding of auditing and in particular the practical audit process. They were pleased to have acquired new IT skills and be able to use the software.

Additionally, 100% of the student participants indicated that they would recommend their course mates to gain the skills and knowledge from the workshop and 100% of them are eager to learn more about Audit Express.
